Brian Tetsuro Ivie is a Japanese-American filmmaker, film producer, and humanist documentarian. While still a film student, Brian made his documentary debut with the Korean-language feature, THE DROP BOX, the story of a Korean man who rescues abandoned children. His follow-up was the critically acclaimed, EMANUEL, which premiered on Starz, with NBA Superstar Stephen Curry and Oscar Winner Viola Davis serving as the film’s executive producers. A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Brian has produced numerous festival short films and features, most recently, WILDCAT, starring Maya Hawke and Laura Linney, EVEN IN THE WIND, starring Sonoya Mizuno, and THE QUEEN OF BASKETBALL, winner of the 2022 Academy Award.
